I've stopped trying to force my work (and myself, for that matter) into a neat little box.

Some paintings ask for geometry. Some ask for realism. Some ask me to loosen my grip entirely.

So instead of chasing consistency for consistency's sake, I'm chasing better questions, sharper observation, and a deeper understanding of light, color, atmosphere, and the things that keep us human.
